HA [Grady McMurtry] blew in to 2 o’c tiffin. Chess & more solid instruction in IXº than I ever gave before to any one! He is now quite OK for the dues. HA’s a/c [account] of his comrades’ ignorance suggests PS to “education” describing “Fore & Aft” etc.
