Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Friday, 8 October 1943

[I Ching hexagram] 57.

An exceeding dull irresolute day.

Lungs wheezing despite huge dose [Heroin] (1/2 gr[ain] a time!) the whole day. No sense in anything.

I should say a perfect sample of 57 at its worst. I’m just plain ILL: can’t say what I feel like; but it’s sort of “Tamas all over”.

8.23 [Air Raid] Alert. No guns.

R.[aiders] P.[assed] 8.52.

Letter from Roy [Roy Leffingwell].
