Oniform depression, despite nice letters from Reeves and Pearson.
Great lunch at Piccadily: Huitres Mornay * Coupe Jenesousquoi. Super-corona & '42 fine to follow. American edition of "Thumbs Up!" Very amiable; gave him a "Temperance" No. 80.
Glorious spring day, but wind still cold.
1 1/6 gr [Heroin] to pull up: 3/4 all needles naughtiness. Probably 1/4 [Heroin] would have kept things straight.
