I objected to the colour reproductions [of the Thoth Tarot cards] because I considered their placing on the page & colour not up to the binding, paper & contents of your book. If you like them, it is not my will to embark on any fresh work on them & I don't care much whether they are liked, hated or admired. I do prefer to do my job as well as it can be done. The people who buy your book will not be artists.
