Dear Sir,
A recent successful Talk on gypsies and fortune-telling makes me think that the Public might well be interested in the origin of the cards they use and which date back many centuries. they have also a topical interest, as, next week, there is to be an Exhibition of 78 paintings of the Tarot Cards in Oxford which is the result of several years work by persons who are interested in the subject.
Mr Felix Cross and I have drafted the enclosed article which we shall be pleased if you will make use of.
