I received your letter of September 3rd yesterday. Many thanks for the additional matter for Book 4 Part III [Magick in Theory and Practice], which I am studying carefully.
No, I have not heard from Brother Mudd [Norman Mudd], and will write him. I do wish he has fulfilled his promise so we could have got this book published.
I appreciate your good wishes in regard to the work here. I, too, am keeping fairly busy with two Public Lectures and six or seven classes a week. Its quite a strain to keep it up constantly.
I am very distressed at your news in regard to Therion, and hope the two $50.00 Dollar Installments I was able to send to him, helped a little bit. Money is very tight still and expenses heavy. I cannot do more at the moment, but will as soon as I have the cash in hand. I did initiate a current in one quarter yesterday which may bear fruit, as someone had promised me a little financial help, under certain circumstances, and I wrote that in the event of this being forthcoming, the cash should be sent to Sicily, as I could hang on a bit longer.
Glad to hear of other successes. May be the financial tide will turn at this Equinox.

P.S. Mrs Ford referred your letter to me for answer. She is not undertaking the business end of the work just now, as she is away in New York for the Present. In any case she had nothing to do with the books etc.
I have made arrangements for the stock to be sent here, having borrowed enough for the purpose from a friend. This will enable us in time to make an inventory as requested, but it may be a slow process on account of space and difficulty of handling heavy boxes.
We will get things straightened out in time and with patience. Its hard to do everything one desires at once.
