Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to C. F. Russell
Villa Santa Barbara [Abbey of Thelema], Cefalu, Sicily.
July 12, 1920.
Care Frater,
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Your letter of XVI
About the Perique [tobacco]—I don't know what you've been smoking; but if you are brining me some, please be careful that it is the genuine from Saint James' Parish, Louisiana. Don't bother about Arabic just now—concentrate wholly on Italian. Get one of your Wops to give you a couple of hours conversation every night.
Love is the law, love under will.
Fraternally
